When a teacher makes cookies!

Adapted Cookies!

Adapted isn't just for fattening up your coffee or tea routine! We have some creative foodies out there that like to bake with it, cook with it, even use it as tanning oil! Okay, that part I made up... don't tan with Adapted kids! Here is a recipe from @teacher_dressonabudget for some yummy Adapted cookies!

  1. 1 1/2 cups of flour
  2. 1/2cup of brown sugar
  3. 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  4. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
  6. 2 tsp vanilla extract
  7. 1 egg
  8. 1/2 cups semi-sweet chips
  9. 1/2-3/4 (1 stick or 1 stick and half) of unsalted butter
  10. 2 individual size packs of Adapted fats
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease two baking sheets, or line with parchment. Beat together the Adapted, butter, sugars, vanilla, salt and baking soda till well combined. Add the egg, beating till smooth. Scrape the sides of the bowl, and beat again till smooth. Fold in your chocolate chips. Add the flour, mixing it in completely.
Put the cookie dough, a teaspoon at a time, on the baking sheet. And bake for 10 - 14 minutes. Enjoy!
